Technological advances have made Bluetooth devices very affordable and thus common in today’s world—Apple AirPods being especially popular. In light of recent research exposing the dangers of radiation from using wireless devices, one should understand the risks of using such technology.
See video:
Simply put, Apple AirPods use Bluetooth technology that emit non-ionizing radiation. As a rule, non-ionizing radiation is somewhat safer in comparison to ionizing radiation, but chronic and daily exposure significantly increases the risk of damaging the brain. Scientific data clearly shows devices being placed close to the head may increase radiation absorption by brain tissues.
Moreover, the cumulative effects of radiation from different sources like smartphones, Wi-Fi routers, and other wireless devices compound the risk of adverse health effects. Therefore, precautions should be taken to reduce exposure like using wired alternatives, reducing time around wireless devices, keeping all gadgets away from body when not in use, and turning Wifi router off at night.
There are many ongoing studies on RF radiation but a plethora of damning research links the many health ailments like chronic headaches, hearing loss, and possibly some types of cancers, which have also been on the increase, to chronic RF/Bluetooth exposure. For the record, World Health Organization classifies this radiation as likely carcinogenic to humans.
Be that as it may, the convenience of wireless devices are undeniable. Therefore, being aware of and mitigating potential radiation risks is crucial for long-term health and safety.
