Newer data revealed all oatmeals contained phytates. By definition, phytates were anti-nutrients that harmed the body more than helped. For instance, new research clearly laid out that phytic acid, a common anti-nutrient in oatmeal leached vital nutrients from the bodies of humans like electrolytes. As you guessed, deficiencies turned into diseases.
